Endo Kit BFRT | Removal of broken instruments, EMS\u00ae<\/sup> thread<\/strong><\/h2>\n

This kit designed by Dr. Yoshi Terauchi and developed in collaboration with Woodpecker\/DTE, has been specifically designed to facilitate canal widening<\/strong> and removal of broken instruments<\/strong> during endodontic procedures. This kit has been carefully designed to take advantage of each of its tips during the different stages of the process, guaranteeing maximum efficiency and safety. <\/p>\n

Description:<\/strong><\/h4>\n

1- Extension of the channel to the broken and flared instrument of the channel:<\/strong> Use a Gates Glidden No. 3 milling cutter to extend the channel to the broken file and brush it against the outer wall to widen the channel when the curvature of the channel is less than 15 degrees. Use a conical NiTi file No. 60\/.02 to extend the channel to the broken instrument and brush it against the external wall to widen the channel when the curvature of the channel is greater than 15 degrees.<\/p>\n

2- Katana-H <\/strong>(E88) and Katana-V <\/strong>(E89) tips: <\/strong>Creates a 90-degree semicircular space. These tips are designed to create a thin gap between the inner wall and the broken instrument, using the flat surface on the broken instrument from the inner wall, and activating ultrasound when placed in the space.
\nThe depth of the gap should be at least one-third of the length of the broken file. If the curvature is greater than 30 degrees, it is advisable to place a drop of medical-grade silicone oil in the canal to facilitate lubrication and loosening of the broken instrument. The depth of the gap in this condition should be at least half the length of the broken instrument.
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

3- TFRK-S <\/strong>tip (E87): Extends<\/strong> the peripheral space from 90 degrees to 180 degrees. Used to widen the semicircular space from 90 degrees to 180 degrees until the broken instrument ‘dances’ (moving from the original space to another) under magnification. In clinical practice, the tip should be used with pecking and pulsing movements. It is advisable not to press it against the channel and to activate the ultrasound to prevent it from breaking due to cyclic fatigue. To widen the lateral space, the tip should be used in an up\/down motion to cut dentin, not laterally. <\/p>\n

4-<\/strong>Once the preparation is complete, the TFRK-S<\/strong> (E87) tip used when the broken file was “danced”, should be used to perform ultrasonic extraction attempts. To achieve the removal of the broken instrument, the ultrasonic tip must be placed in the space created in the inner wall and the ultrasounds must be activated in a short vertical within the previously prepared space. If the curvature of the channel is 30 degrees or less than 30 degrees, the channel should be filled with 17% EDTA, or if the curvature of the channel is greater than 30 degrees, vegetable oil (e.g., soybean oil) should be used. <\/p>\n
